FAQ

What is a Senior Move Manager?
A Senior Move Manager helps older adults and their families with the emotional and logistical challenges of moving or aging in place. We handle the overwhelming details — downsizing, sorting, packing, moving, and getting you comfortably settled — while following NASMM’s professional standards and Code of Ethics.

What services do you offer?
We tailor support to your needs. Whether you want help with a floor plan, fragile packing, or full move management, we can step in where you need us most. We also coordinate cleanouts, online estate sales, with trusted professionals when additional services are required.

How does floor planning work?
We measure your new home to create a realistic layout, and help you decide what to bring so your new home feels comfortable, functional, and familiar.

Who do you help?
We support seniors, families, and anyone who needs expert guidance through a move or major home transition — assisting to age in place, downsizing or relocating to a new community.

What credentials do you have?
I hold the SRES® (Seniors Real Estate Specialist) designation with the National Association of REALTORS® and am a member of NASMM. These credentials reflect advanced training in senior transitions, downsizing, housing options, financial considerations, safety, ethics, and project coordination and sale of your home if necessary.

Why do these credentials matter?
They ensure you’re working with someone who understands the emotional, practical, and financial realities of major life transitions — and who can guide you with clarity, patience, and professionalism.

Do you work with other professionals?
Yes. We partner with vetted experts such as specialized movers, junk removal services, elder law attorneys, geriatric care managers, handymen, cleaners, financial planners, real estate, agents, home-health providers, and shredding/recycling specialists. We coordinate the right team to support your entire transition.
